Introduction
Communication is the absolute requirement in the era of globalization.
Various activities especially those which are related with the industrial
activity, the transfer of technology, the transfer of information etc., in
the form of discussions, seminars, workshops, and trainings both formally
and informally, demanded the existence of exact, effective and efficient
communication. Thus, the existence of a translator becomes very important.
As a communication bridge, a translator is not only required to possess
excellent active language capability, but also the comprehensive
understanding of the contents of discussions. In this case, the background
of the translator's education is critical.
So that the industrial activity, the transfer of technology process, etc.,
goes smoothly and the objective could be reached, it is very important to
acquire a translator that has the ability to speak a foreign language
actively with a background in the technical field.
Objective
To provide translators who have the ability of
active foreign language (read, write and oral) with technical backgrounds.
Vision and Mission
We make an effort to maximize the potential of the national asset of human
resources that have the ability of foreign language actively, especially
Japanese, with the background of technical education.
With all the available potentials, we want to take an active role as an
effective communication bridge between two countries especially
Indonesia-Japan, in the hope of increasing the industrial activity, the
transfer of technology etc., in the face of the globalization era.
Staff
TechTrans was established by several engineers, who all are graduates of
national universities in Japan, that have experiences as translators for
more than five years individually in Japan and in Indonesia. TechTrans
is also supported by approximately other 12 translators with various
technical background, who all are graduates of national universities in
Japan.
